How is it October already?
It's been 10 weeks since I left my job at the NHSBT. 10 weeks! At first I really struggled to get into a routine and felt like I was just on annual leave, and that I would be going back.
It now feels like I'm doing what I love for a living. I get up on Monday morning ready for the week ahead. I plan what I need to do and prioritise - I still need to improve on this organisation. Especially now, with the busiest time of year creeping up fast.
I've now launched the Halloween and Autumn collection after a record-breaking Market Night at the end of September.
I've planned my Christmas products and need to get these launched before the end of October. I can't imagine how I did all this with a job!
I've also redesigned my candle labels - they haven't changed since I launched in 2017 - so I can't wait to show you these!
Because I really don't have enough to do, I am hoping to add room sprays to our product line and brand new geometric candles which are still in the testing stage.
Starlight is going from strength to strength and I am so excited about the future. I am so proud of the little business I've built, and I could not of done it without my amazing customers.
