Ever had a candle that gets soot all around the rim or even on your walls?

This should NOT be happening. It could be down to a few factors.

The wick is too big for the container. This means the manufacturer hasn’t tested properly to find the perfect wick. It could mean the wick is too long. You may need to trim it - we always recommend trimming your wick before relighting.

It could also mean there’s too much fragrance oil in the wax, and again this means it hasn’t been properly tested by the manufacturers.
